EVER MIND was painted for a specific Call for Art, "Cover Lover Remix", at Pelham Art Center Pelham, NY. The show's curator was Dick Burroughs, a Brooklyn-based art curator, writer, and DJ. Participating artists were to reinterpret iconic album covers while maintaining a conceptual thread to the original album artwork. My choice was Nirvana's "NEVERMIND" album, which was reworked by placing the swimming baby in a natural water setting and noticing a fish instead of a dollar bill.
